A lot of everyday items to choose from. The store has a "feel good" effect on me maybe because of the calming music and the welcoming ambience. The BGC store Central Square) is spacious and everything looks very organized. Most of the items are pricey but you are paying for the quality and the brand. Being a weekend, there were a lot of customers but queues on both the store and cafe counters were relatively short.

In an online world, one would think that it would be a no brainer to order from a not-so-small company like Muji. Unfortunately, Muji Philippines' online order system is not very intuitive. I went on their website and ordered a couple of PP drawers (size 44x55x30cm) for delivery, hoping to save myself the trouble of going through traffic to go to the store in person. Upon placing the order, you will need to wait for an email confirmation before proceeding to make a payment. Upon receipt of the email confirmation, I was sent an invoice to pay for the cost of the items + delivery fee and was informed that delivery will take 3-5 business days. I paid for it. Next thing, someone from Muji was calling me to let me know that they are unable to deliver anything over 50cm. This was really disappointing because one would think that the reason why a payment was not taken upon placing the order is that they are checking if they will able to fulfill your order. The fact they sent me an order confirmation and asked me to pay for the items AND delivery fee, someone from Muji must have determined that they are able to deliver both items and service. I ended up having to pick up the items myself (which was what I was trying to avoid in the first place) and was promised that the delivery fee will be refunded. As of this writing, I have not received said refund. Someone from Muji needs to take another look at their process because, clearly, it is not working.
